Manic Street Preachers unveil Send Away The Tigers 10th anniversary plans
Manic Street Preachers have confirmed plans to celebrate 10 years of Send Away The Tigers.
The band, about to begin working on the follow up to 2014's Futurology, are finding time to honour their eight studio long-player. They'll be releasing an expanded special edition on 2xCD and DVD bookset, double vinyl, and digital formats.
James Dean Bradfield has remastered the audio for the release, which includes a bonus disc of rarities and B-sides. Nicky Wire has contributed handwritten lyrics and pictures from his own archive.
"Send Away The Tigers was a very important record for us," say the band. "It gave us a new lease of life and helped us to rediscover our love of the band. This edition helps to tell the whole story. Through demos, home recordings, and handwritten lyrics you find intimate details of a band about to reinvent themselves."
