Manic Street Preachers announce Everything Must Go anniversary show
Manic Street Preachers have detailed a one-off stadium show to celebrate the 20th anniversary of fourth record Everything Must Go.
The date follows their celebrations for The Holy Bible and 2014's Futurology.
Manic Street Preachers will perform two full sets at their Liberty Stadium date - the first being Everything Must Go in its entirety (featuring some tracks that haven't been performed since 1996), and the second promising "rarities and curios, greatest hits, and a few brand new songs".
This date is the band's biggest Welsh headline show since 1999, and it will feature an "entirely new visual backdrop based around the album's iconic artwork" by BAFTA-winning director Kieran Evans.
Manic Street Preachers will play Swansea's Liberty Stadium on 28 May 2016. Super Furry Animals and Public Service Broadcasting will be supporting - DJ sets and "other celebrations" are still to be confirmed.
Tickets for the show will be on sale at 9am 13 November, and are priced at £39.50 and £55.00.To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of 1996's landmark record 'Everything Must Go', the Manics will be playing the album in full plus further material at a mammoth gig at Swansea's Liberty Stadium on 28th May 2016. Very special guests will be Super Furry Animals, SFA and PUBLIC SERVICE BROADCASTING . Tickets go on sale 9am 13th November.
