Manchester Orchestra perform cover of Neil Young's "Unknown Legend"
As well as releasing their new album The Million Masks of God today (30 April), Manchester Orchestra have performed a cover of Neil Young's "Unknown Legend" for SiriusXM.
"Unknown Legend", which featured on Neil Young's 1992 album Harvest Moon, has been covered by Manchester Orchestra before at live shows, Stereogum points out, but yesterday (29 April) they performed a more intimate rendition on piano and acoustic guitar for SiriusXM.
Their performance of "Unknown Legend" arrives alongside their new album The Million Masks of God, which follows 2017's A Black Mile to the Surface, and was produced by Manchester Orchestra's own Andy Hull and Robert McDowell, as well as Catherine Marks (PJ Harvey, The Killers) and Ethan Gruska (Phoebe Bridgers).
