Makaya McCraven previews new LP with second single "Beat Science"
Chicago drummer Makaya McCraven has released new track "Beat Science" today (24 July) as the second single from his forthcoming album Universal Beings E&F Sides.
"Beat Science" follows on from last week's lead single "Mak Attack", both of which will feature on McCraven's Universal Beings E&F Sides album.
The drummer has also shared an excerpt from his forthcoming Universal Beings film, which is soundtracked by his new track "Beat Science".
Universal Beings E&F Sides is an addition to McCraven's 2018 LP Universal Beings, and will feature 14 new pieces. The new music will feature on an upcoming documentary called Universal Beings, which is also arriving at the end of this month with the album.
McCraven's forthcoming LP will follow on from February's We're New Again, his reworked version of Gil Scott-Heron's final album I'm New Here.
The drummer has also shared an excerpt from his forthcoming Universal Beings film, which is soundtracked by his new track "Beat Science".
