Madonna has rescheduled her first Madame X shows
Madonna has been forced to reschedule the first two shows of her Madame X tour due to "highly specialized production elements being delayed".
Madonna was due to kick off her Madame X tour on 12 September at New York City's BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, but has rescheduled her shows on 12 and 14 September to the 10 and 12 October after a delay on production elements.
Alongside rescheduling her first two shows, Madonna has cancelled her show on 15 September, also at BAM Howard Gilman Opera House. Refunds will be automatically issued to ticket holders.
Live Nation issued a statement on the rescheduled shows, revealing they had to be moved due to "highly specialized production elements being delayed."
Madonna said of her delayed shows, "Madame X is a perfectionist and wants to give you the most unique, magical, and musical experience. She underestimated the amount of time it would take to bring this kind of intimate theatrical experience to you and wants it to be perfect!!! Thank you so much for your understanding."
Her latest album Madame X landed back in June, and features collaborations with Maluma, Quavo, Swae Lee, and Anitta.
