The seven minute video presents two incredible takes on fusing Mac DeMarco's slacker sound and rap.
"She's My Sweet" and "Fuck The Toronto Raptors" are the two tracks on the unexpected YouTube video uploaded by Mac DeMarco on 8 May.
The video description unpackages the tracks as he writes, "Recorded earlier today on the red carpet at the Met Gala".
Toronto Raptors were knocked out of the NBA Eastern Conference on 8 May, and somehow DeMarco has managed to create a bizarrely fantastic release.
The credits in the description highlight involvement on the track from Colin Caulfield (DIIV) and Peter Sagar (Homeshake), as well as DeMarco's usual backing band.
Check out when Best Fit went backstage with Mac Demarco.
