M83 announces DSVII project 12 years after first volume
M83 has announced the highly-anticipated DSVII project, arriving 12 years after Digital Shades Vol. 1.
Back in March, M83 released his soundtrack for Knife + Heart, a film directed by the M83 frontman's brother Yann Gonzalez.
Now Anthony Gonzalez, aka M83, has announced his next project, DSVII.
Offering some words on the follow up to 2007's Digital Shades Vol. 1, Gonzalez says, "With DSVII, I wanted to come back with something stronger that featured the depth of a proper studio album without the pressure of providing pop music – faraway from Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming and Junk."
