A fan asked M.I.A. if she will be performing, to which the singer replied, "Yez, u coming?".
NME reports that M.I.A. will perform at the event alongside Lowkey.
The protest is in support of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, who was arrested in April at the Ecuadorian embassy in London. He had been hiding for the last seven years at the embassy to avoid being extradited to Sweden over a sexual assault case that has since been dropped. M.I.A. has shown her support for Assange over the years, and even wrote a letter thanking Assange.
