M.I.A. has shared a preview of a new song landing on Friday (12 August) titled "Popular", which she worked on with Diplo.
After making her return in May with "The One" and confirming her first album in six years MATA, M.I.A. has shared a snippet of a new single titled "Popular", which is arriving on Friday (12 August).
M.I.A. tagged Diplo in the post, and wrote in the caption, "POPULAR 8/12 MIA IS DEAD AF, THE FUTURE IS HERE ITS MAI BITCHES LINK IN BIO ~~M.A.I." She added in a comment, "This is not me i would never make a song with Diplo. I'm working on a Christian LP rn."

She's yet to share details of her MATA album, but it'll follow 2016's AIM.
M.I.A. will share "Popular" on Friday (12 August). She's yet to share a release date for her MATA album.
