M.I.A parts ways with Jay Z's Roc Nation

M.I.A has started the new year by announcing that she’s left Roc Nation, the company owned by Jay Z.
The news comes following building tension between both the singer and her management at the company in the lead up to recent album Matangi.
Roc Nation themselves recently penned a management deal with Grimes. You can check out M.I.A announcing the move in her tweet beneath:
