Lykke Li, Patti Smith, and Smerz among first names for Norway's Øya Festival
The first names for Norwegian bash Øya are in, with Lykke Li, Patti Smith, and Smerz among those leading the charge.
Converge, ....And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Grizzly Bear, Brockhampton, Chelsea Wolfe, Superorganism, Sleaford Mods, Noname, Dig Deeper, Paradise, Store P, and Tønes are also confirmed for next year's festival.
The environmentally conscious festival sets itself apart from many major UK and European events by being powered totally by sustainable electricity. All the rubbish is hand sorted with 70% recycled, and almost all of the food available is locally sourced - and each food truck/stall/seller must offer a menu that's at least 50% vegetarian friendly.
