
Lupe Fiasco uploads freestyle paying tribute to MF DOOM
Following the news of MF DOOM's passing, Lupe Fiasco has uploaded a freestyle paying tribute to the legendary masked rapper.
Yesterday (31 December), Jasmine Dumile, the wife of MF DOOM, shared a post via his Instagram that revealed the masked rapper died on 31 October. The legendary rapper was 49, and the cause of death is yet to be revealed.
Tributes have been pouring in from all over the world, including MF DOOM's collaborators Ghostface Killah, Czarface and Bishop Nehru.
Lupe Fiasco also reacted to the news on Twitter last night (31 December), writing, "To whom it may concern: I ask and propose that from this point forward all rappers from everywhere and from every style and every level in the craft refer to "Similes" as "Dumiles" Pronounced "Doom-ah-lays". A small gesture for a fallen master. MF DOOM. Can I get a 2nd?"

He also uploaded a freestyle that sees him rapping in the style of MF DOOM. Lupe Fiasco wrote, "Thanx DOOM...I learned so much from you about the art of rapping.
