Lupe Fiasco appointed "Music Director" for U.S soccer team at the World Cup
Association football (aka soccer) is becoming increasingly popular in the States, especially within music communities. Now, following in the path led by Drake, Lupe Fiasco has just struck up a deal with the U.S national team to become their “Musical Director” for the upcoming World Cup.
It’s an interesting title, but what does that job actually entail? Well, it turns out that Lupe will simply curate a Spotify playlist for the squad (presumably to be played in the dressing room before games) and perform live at the U.S. Soccer Fan Fest in Chicago on 16 June.
We’re confused to why they didn’t ask Haim instead…
