Lucy Dacus postpones multiple UK shows after testing positive for COVID
Lucy Dacus has postponed her upcoming shows in Leeds, Glasgow, Dublin and Manchester after testing positive for COVID.
Tomorrow (18 March) Dacus was expected to play Leeds' Brundenell Social Club, followed by Glasgow's Saint Luke's, Dublin's Olympia Theatre, and Manchester's Gorilla, but in a statement posted to socials last night (16 March), Dacus announced the postponement of those UK shows after testing positive for COVID.
The statement reads, "We are sad to announce that Lucy tested positive ofr COVID right before leaving for tour in the UK and Europe."
"She is doing well however out of an abundance of caution and care for the rest of her band, crew and fans, we are postponing the first few shows of the tour in Leeds, Glasgow, Dublin and Manchester," the statement continued. "These shows will be rescheduled quickly (more on that soon) and the tour will begin as planned in Bristol, UK on March 24th."
