Following a triumphant main stage set earlier in the day, Lucy Dacus treated End of the Road audiences to a secret late-night performance last night.
The set featured rarities, covers, and the first ever airing of two songs from boygenius, her upcoming collaborative project with Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers.
Covering (Sandy) Alex G's "Bobby" with Bristolian artist Jamie Cruickshank, as well as Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing In The Dark", Baker joined Dacus on stage for the live debut of "Bite The Hand" and "Stay Down", both rapturously received by those souls hardy enough to stay up until the wee hours of Saturday morning.
End of the Road continues on Saturday 1 September with headline sets from Vampire Weekend and Oh Sees.
