Loyle Carner creates festive dish for London pizzeria
London's Yard Sale Pizza has let Loyle Carner loose in their kitchen to create a festive dish that donates a portion of money from the pizzas to his own cooking school.
The Christmas Con Carner pizza takes inspiration from Carner's cooking school Chilli Con Carner.
Carner's festive pizza is built on a double-fermented dough base and a house tomato sauce. There's turkey chilli, mozzarella, and teardrop peppers that are garnished with cheddar, sour cream, coriander and lime. If you're veggie, there's no need to fret as the Turkey chilli can be swapped for quorn.
£1 from each Christmas Con Carner pizza sold will go to Carner's cooking schoool, which aims to get teenagers with ADHD into the kitchen.
Additionally, there'll be a limited edition t-shirt up for grabs with the same amount being donated to his Chilli Con Carner cooking school.
Carner's good deeds are piling up having taken the lead as a mentor for this year's Levi's Music Project in Liverpool.
The esteemed wordsmith will also be touring the UK next year, and will play London's Roundhouse on 7 May 2019. Find out more.
