Love Forever: The Mary Onettes work with Dan Lissvik on new material, released in February
The Mary Onettes have announced their return with a new EP titled Love Forever, produced by Dan Lissvik of the highly influential duo Studio. According to the band’s label Labrador, gone are the echoing reverb and 80′s guitar of old. Instead, the new EP is described as “a wonder of genre-blurring fearlessness drawing on ambient textures, avant-garde rhythms and intricate arrangements. A delicately beautiful collection of songs.”
Love Forever is released on February 28 and will be available digitally or on limited edition vinyl. Head over to the Labrador store to pre-order your copy now.
Tracklist:
1. Love’s Taking Strange Ways
2. Will I Ever Be Ready
3. A Breaking Heart Is A Brilliant Start
4. 8th Of June
We’ll try and post up a preview of the EP as soon as possible. For now, check out this classic from 2010′s wonderful full length Islands.
