Lost Under Heaven unveil thunderous new single "Come" with virtual reality video
British/Dutch duo Lost Under Heaven uncover their heavier side with electric new single "Come", which arrives with a virtual reality video.
"Come" is the latest single to be shared from their forthcoming sophomore record Love Hates What You Become, which is due for release next week.
Ebony Hoorn of the duo explains that the new single is based on a "tantric union of masculine and feminine energy and the manifesting potential of sexual transmutation."
The new single arrives with a virtual reality, interactive video, which was created by London's own Treatment Studios, having approached Lost Under Heaven with the idea of exploring virtual reality in music videos back in Spring 2017.
Hoorn explains her storyboard for the video, revealing it depicts "the symbolic journey from separation to unification, where following a dramatic fall from the heavens you hurtle into a wasteland, as a disembodied consciousness you begin to rise, life starts to blossom as you approach the womb within the Tree of Life…”
Treatment’s creative director Damian Hale worked closely with Hoorn to make the video. Hoorn explains, "it was a completely new approach to the visual creation, to try and create a psychedelic first person experience told wholly thru setting and atmosphere, where the musical elements of the track animate the surroundings, almost as if you exist within the pulsing heart of the song."
"Come" is the fifth track to be shared from their sophomore album Love Hates What You Become, after "Post Millennial Tension", "For the Wild", "Bunny's Blues", and "The Breath of Light".
