Los Campesinos! stream album trailer for fifth record
Los Campesinos! will return shortly with a new album, what will be their fifth LP release to date, suggesting in a new trailer clip that it’ll be called No Blues.
The record follows on from 2011′s Hello Sadness and was recorded at the Bryn Derwen studios near Bangor, North Wales earlier this year. It’ll be the Cardiff-based band’s first with a newly-trimmed line-up, after long-term bassist Ellen left the group late last year.
Ellen’s last gig as part of the band, taking place at Islington Assembly Hall during December 2012, was recently made into a live album release entitled A Good Night For A Fistfight, which will be issued on tape for Cassette Store Day come 7 September.
You can watch the trailer clip to the forthcoming release below, which features a new instrumental track expected to feature on the album, as well as pink paint, smoke, sausages, balloons and piñatas a-plenty.
