Having released her debut back in September and shifted over a million copies since, Lorde has now confirmed she’s working on album #2.
Speaking to the BBC recently, the New Zealand native revealed that she’s “working on stuff quite tentatively” but that the material is sounding “totally different”.
“I wrote the last album about that world which was the suburb where I grew up and populated by my friends and people who were really familiar to me,” she said. “Now I’m in a different place every day and I’m with new people every day and it’s a different vibe.”
Meanwhile, Lorde is set to support Arcade Fire at Earls Court in London this weekend.
