Lorde thanks Alexandra Palace show attendees for raising over $33,000 for The Brigid Alliance
In a new email sent to fans over the weekend, Lorde thanked attendees of her Alexandra Palace show last month for raising over $33,000 for The Brigid Alliance, which "supports people who must travel long distances across the US for abortion care."
Lorde's latest email sent to fans was a pretty lengthy one, as she reflected on playing 42 shows as part of her Solar Power tour. Lorde wrote that she's "So happy there’s still more to come," and later revealed that she "Can’t stop working……. why stop when it feels like play???". Lorde also revealed she's "Obsessed with music again and listening to it all the time, not telling you what though, hihi huhu."
As well as writing about how she's "Growing out my unibrow as an entry point for playing with conventions of beauty/gender/form," Lorde shared a note to those who attended her Alexandra Palace show in London last month: "Everyone who was at Ally Pally, I wanna say thank you — you guys raised over $33k USD for the Brigid Alliance, thank you so much for that, I’m really grateful. I felt really supported at that show too, I was feeling really emotional about Roe v Wade, felt special being able to kick and rage and sweat it out with you."
