Lone Wolf unveils "Crimes" video ahead of new LP Lodge
Lone Wolf's shared his new visual accompaniment to "Crimes", the latest single to arrive from third album Lodge.
Lone Wolf, real name Paul Marshall, last released a record in 2012 - his acclaimed The Lovers album.
Speaking about "Crimes", Marshall said that it "is an example of me really holding back on this record. It was really tempting to layer more things over the hip-hop beat, but the coldness of the space is what seems to hold this record together. The video is an homage to the imagery that got me writing again. I was up late one evening, and stumbled upon video footage of Pripyat and Chernobyl. The desolation and sheer emptiness of that place seemed to hit home and it all felt very familiar in it's essence, and so i felt it needed to be displayed along with the music it inspired."
Lodge is set for release on Sharing Needles With Friends on 11 May. For more information about how the record got here, and what it's all about, head to our in-depth preview.
