London's Wireless Festival cancels 2020 event due to coronavirus
Wireless Festival, which usually takes part in London's Finsbury Park, has cancelled its 2020 event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
A$AP Rocky, Skepta and Meek Mill were due to headline this year's Wireless Festival, but today (5 May), organisers have announced that the 2020 event, which was due to take place from 3-5 July, is no longer going ahead.
This afternoon, they released a statement on socials, which reads, "Wireless Festival will no longer be taking place this year. As you know we've been closely monitoring this unprecedented situation, and it's become clear that cancelling is unavoidable. Our heart goes out to the artists and fans that were looking forward to Wireless Festival. We're in this together and we thank you all for your support."
Organisers will be giving ticketholders the choice of retaining their tickets until 2021, or getting a refund. Read the full statement below.
