The O2 in London has reopened after Storm Eunice shredded parts of the roof last week.

Last Friday (18 February) Storm Eunice caused some damage to The O2 in London, ripping off sections of the roof. The O2 was forced to close to assess the damage, resulting in numerous events (including Dave's shows) being postponed.

The London landmark, which recently hosted the 2022 BRIT Awards, announced today (25 February) that the venue is back open. The UB40 show planned for tonight (25 February) will go ahead.

According to BBC, The O2 said safety checks concluded that the venue is "safe, secure and structurally sound."

In a statement released on Wednesday (23 February), The O2 confirmed the ripped roof fabric will remain until a permanent solution is found.

Steve Sayer, vice president and general manager of The O2, said, "Confirming our reopening after such a short closure is a huge testament to everyone who is working so hard to get us open again."

"Safety will always be our number one priority and as a venue, we have always been proud of the standards we hold and delivering a best in class fan and artist experience," he added.
