London venue Koko damaged in overnight fire during refurbishment
London's iconic music venue Koko was damaged during a fire that broke out last night (6 January).
The building, which is situated close to Mornington Crescent tube station, was expected to re-open this Spring after closing in February 2019 to be expanded and refurbished.
According to BBC, the fire broke out just before 9pm last night (6 January), and saw 60 firefighters tackle the roof fire.
No injuries were reported, but the dome of the building has apparently been destroyed.

Venue owner Olly Bengough said he was "deeply saddened" by the fire, and added, "We'll be doing our best to get the redevelopment of this iconic building back on track."
Since opening its doors in 1900 as the Camden Theatre, the venue has hosted a vast array of musicians, including Madonna, The Clash, Ed Sheeran, Kanye West, Coldplay, Prince, and more.
The refurbishment was expected to see the venue reopen with the inclusion of two adjacent buildings and a renovated rooftop area.
Koko have said they will post an "official statement once we have had time to properly assess the consequences of the fire."
