London based collective A House in the Trees stream debut EP in full
London based collective A House in the Trees releaed their debut EP, To Adore, this week. Available digitally and on a limited run of 50 cassettes via Brighton label Friendly Dinner Records, the whole thing is available to preview below.
An immersive audio/visual project featuring a number of creators from different backgrounds, the team behind A House In The Trees have built up a repertoire of material which is both dark and emotive, pushing towards several genres at once whilst always maintaining a theme of electronica.
"A House in the Trees is a home away from inertia for while its foundations are firm it is never fully finished.” The group says of the collective project, “Our house evolves as we do. It grows with us. Every gig, track, visual and conversation adds ever more branches and dimensions to our home in the woods.”
Side A of the cassette contains the To Adore EP in full whilst side B contains an instrumental reimagining of ‘Payup’ and bonus track ‘So Naturally’.
