Logic teams up with Def Jam to launch BobbyBoy Records
Logic has teamed up with Def Jam Recordings to launch his new BobbyBoy Records, formerly known as Elysium Records.
According to Variety, the initial roster includes John Lindahl, Damian Lemar Hudson (featured on "Black Spiderman"), Big Lenbo, and Kajo (featured on "The Adventures of Stoney Bob").
Logic said of the venture, "Def Jam has been my home for years. And now standing by them side by side as a businessman is incredible. Backing for my label to support the artists I believe in is a dream come true and I am so excited to give my fans something even more in this next chapter of my life!"
He also uploaded an video to Instagram to announce the news. In the video he states, "I've decided to change the name of Elysium Records to BobbyBoy Records, and the reason I'm gonna do this is because I relly feel like BobbyBoy is becoming an empire, from books, film, television. It's just really been a beautiful, creative space."

He released his Confessions of a Dangerous Mind album last month. His debut novel and soundtrack Supermarket arrived back in March.
