Lizzo and Cardi B take aim at the haters on new single "Rumors"
Lizzo has kicked off her new era with Cardi B collaboration "Rumors", which sees both artists hit back at online haters.
"Rumors" is Lizzo's first collaboration withh Cardi B, and arrives with a Tanu Muino-directed video that depicts both artists as goddesses.
The song sees Lizzo sarcastically state that "all the rumours are true" before reflecting on how far she's come in regards to dealing with online hate, "Last year, I thought I would losе it / Readin' shit on the internеt."
"Rumors" is Lizzo's first new material since her 2019 album Cuz I Love You, and is Cardi B's first collaboration since appearing on Normani's "Wild Side" last month.
Last month Lizzo sarcastically shut down rumours that she was working on a new album via TikTok. In the clip, she showed that she was in the studio with Mark Ronson.
