Liz Phair encourages people to vote with new audio tweet song
Liz Phair has utilised Twitter's recent audio tweet feature to sing a song that encourages people to vote in the upcoming US election.
While artists such as Dua Lipa, Spoon, Kim Gordon and more used the voice tweet feature to record a spoken message for the #YourVoiceYourVote hashtag, Liz Phair was one of the few that actually created a song to encourage people to vote.
"I don't wanna hear that you waited too long to vote / When you could've voted early / I don't want to hear you blew it off and slept in / when we need a clear majority this election," sings Phair while playing guitar.
I’m voting by mail this year. Each state does voting differently, but you may be able to request your ballot today. #YourVoiceYourVote #FleetwoodMac pic.twitter.com/ez0lqYeqRs

Phair first used the audio tweet feature back in June to share a song she wrote about the new feature on the social media site.
Christina Aguilera also shared a song in her #YourVoiceYourVote audio tweet. She sang a couple of lines from her 2016 single "Changes", "Stand tall / then proudly lift your voices / Let 'em know who we are / and our choices."
