Little Simz, Tierra Whack and more included in Michelle Obama's new playlist
Michelle Obama has shared a new playlist inspired by the first season of her podcast, and it features songs by Little Simz, Tierra Whack and more.
Last Friday (7 August), Michella Obama shared a new Spotify playlist inspired by the first season of her The Michelle Obama Podcast.
When revealing the playlist last week, Obama wrote on Twitter, "It's filled with incredible new artists and a whole lot of #BlackGirlMagic. I hope you'll give it a listen."
The 41-track playlist features songs including Tierra Whack's "Pretty Ugly", Yuna and Little Simz's "Pink Youth", Arlo Parks' "Eugene", SiR and Kendrick Lamar's "Hair Down", Lianne La Havas' "Can't Fight", and Empress Of's "When I'm With Him".
Obama's selection of tracks also features artists such as Beyoncé, Ari Lennox, Teyana Taylor, Sudan Archives, Steve Lacy, Nao, Chloe x Halle, Jamila Woods, Erykah Badu, Sampa The Great and others.
