Veteran art-rock act Spoon have had their latest single "Inside Out" reimagined by Tycho, San Francisco's ambient artiste.
The result is a gauzy, nebulous affair with sporadic axe outbursts and the twinkle of Disney chimes. It cuts through the indie sensibilities of the original, lacing it with a dreamwave gloss, but it doesn't lurch too far into Tycho's signature sounds. The result is something that sounds a bit like Phoenix.
