Listen to the Thumpers x Chloe Howl collaboration "Yolanda" exclusively on Best Fit
Hyper-pop duo Thumpers and superstar-in-the-making Chloe Howl have joined forces for this sizzling slow-burner "Yolanda".
The track is taken from Thumpers' new EP Together, which was released 9 November. The EP features collaborations with the aforementioned Howl, Jena Malone, Blood Red Shows and Sun Club.
"Yolanda" exposes itself early an '80s stadium-pop duet. Thumpers' signature percussive clatter seeps through lugubrious synth pads, with Howl and guitarist/vocalist Marcus Pepperell entwining their vocal lines. It's a remarkably chilled cut from both artists; both are fond of explosive hooks and Gattling gun-rhythms, but "Yolanda" is about as chilled as a weekend at the beach.
