Listen to the Japanese original version of Mac DeMarco's “Chamber Of Reflection”

One of the standout tracks from Mac DeMarco’s new album Salad Days is the dream-like synth-pop number “Chamber Of Reflection”. Now, it appears that the song lends its melody from a rare Japanese instrumental.
As Noisey writer Ryan Bassil notes, DeMarco seems to pay homage to “The Word II” by Shigeo Sekito, originally released in 1975. Either way, both versions are worth your listen – and you can compare/contrast each beneath:
