Nine Inch Nails are streaming Not The Actual Events, an "unfriendly, fairly impenetrable" five-track EP.
Not The Actual Events is the first new NIN release since 2013's Hesitation Marks (not counting the 2014 remix EPS) and the first with Atticus Ross as an official member. It's described as "unrecognisable" from their film work together - that was made very clear in "Burning Bright (Field On Fire)", the lead single which arrived earlier this week.
“It's an unfriendly, fairly impenetrable record that we needed to make,” says Trent Reznor. “It’s an EP because that ended up being the proper length to tell that story.”
NIN's Not The Actual Events EP is out now. Order now.
