In anticipation of Big Wheel And Others, his upcoming 22-track compilation, Cass McCombs has offered up ‘Brighter!’, a new track featuring vocals from recently-deceased Oscar-nominated singer/actress Karen Black.

‘Brighter!’ is the album’s only collaboration, with Black having previously appeared in McCombs’ 2009 video for ‘Dreams Come True Girl’. The singer has released the track as a tribute, stating on his website that it is “dedicated to the memory of Karen Black”, who passed away last month aged 74.
