Jens Lekman has uncovered chapter four of his 52-song Postcard series, continuing his New Year's resolution to air more music with his fans.
"Postcard # 4" is a simple ditty, blending instruments together with brittle textures and uncomplicated melodies. Brass and bass glide in on occasion, but this is mostly just Lekman and his piano, singing about the lymbic system, nerve impulses and the cerebral cortex. It's one huge metaphor, and it's pretty sweet.
You can listen to numbers one, two and three already.
Check out "Postcard # 4" below.
