Standing in for Jarvis Cocker all year on BBC Radio 6 Music’s Sunday Service, Iggy Pop explored the history of the saxophone on air over the weekend.
Featuring the likes of Charlie Parker and John Coltrane, the two-hour “Sax In The City” show saw the Stooges singer delve into his own collection, offering an overview of how sax music has been incorporated with jazz, pop and rock over the past 40 years.
