Listen to Four Tet’s remix of Sia’s “Chandelier”
Australian singer/songwriter Sia has just shared a new remix from Four Tet of “Chandelier,” the leading single from her forthcoming album 1000 Forms of Fear.
Four Tet’s mix strips the song of some of its immediacy, converting its verses into a calmer, trance-y affair, giving Sia’s vocals more of a laid back R&B vibe—but there’s just no calming that chorus.
Listen to Four Tet’s remix below, and beneath that, rather than a standard stream of the original for comparison, check out Sia’s live reenactment of the song’s music video on Ellen with dancer Maddie Ziegler.
The original “Chandelier” will appear on Sia’s upcoming album 1000 Forms of Fear, out 7 July via RCA/Monkey Puzzle Records.
