Listen to Charli XCX team up with Rita Ora for "Doing It"
Earlier this week, we reported that Charli XCX was pushing her second LP Sucker back another time so that she could include "Doing It", a collaboration with pop powerhouse Rita Ora.
Now, fortuitously, we can put down out "where's the album Charli?" pitchforks and sate our feverish appetite with "Doing It".
If you thought "Boom Clap" was a bit of a banger, you're in for a right treat. Despite sounding a bit lewd in the title, it's actually a massive club floorfiller-type track, with squirmy basslines, straightforward beats and a melodic conversation between XCX and Ora. In terms of sentiment, it follows a similar thread to Elliphant x MØ's "One More".
It looks like the extra few weeks' wait for Sucker might be worth it after all.
