Listen to Amanda Palmer's taboo-busting appearance on Talk The Line
Amanda Palmer talks candidly on terrorism, stripping, abortion and polyamory as the latest guest on our weekly conversational podcast Talk The Line.
Palmer, who dropped a collab record earlier this year with Legendary Pink Dots' Edward Ka-Spel, took a curveball approach to the usual themes we explore on Talk The Line. Noting that many interviewers shy away from tackling the truly taboo subject she wants to talk about, she decided that should be the talking point.
From the criticism she got in 2013 for expressing empathy for the Boston bomber, Palmer also talks about her years as a stripper, the dynamic behind her polyamorous relationship with writer Neil Gaiman, and her experiences of abortion.
