Lily Allen to make TV debut in new Sky Original comedy series Dreamland
It's been announced that Lily Allen will make her TV debut in a Sky Original comedy series titled Dreamland alongside Doctor Who's Freema Agyeman.
Deadline reports that Dreamland is based on Sharon Horgan’s 2018 BAFTA-winning short of the same name, and is set in Margate, Kent.
Lily Allen will appear in the series as Mel, a sister of the lead Trish, who is played by Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who).
Dreamland will mark Allen's first TV role, although she did appear in 2019's How to Build a Girl, and also made her West End debut last year in Danny Robins play 2:22 - A Ghost Story.
Last month Allen said she may not hang up her microphone "just yet" after joining Olivia Rodrigo onstage at Glastonbury 2022.
