Recently launching a comeback on a wave of broadsheet opinion pieces, Lily Allen has now confirmed that’ll she’ll appear at next year’s Glastonbury Festival.
The fest returns to Worthy Farm next summer, with few acts already actually announced. But the singer used her recent appearance on BBC Radio 1 to reveal her booking.
“It got confirmed yesterday,” Allen told host Nick Grimshaw. “That’s the first big thing I’m going to be doing. I’ll be doing 16 weeks of festivals over the summer and then tour.”
Allen recently unveiled the video for new single “Hard Out Here”, which received mixed reviews and much controversy.
