Lil Wayne confirms that Tha Carter V will be his final album
Lil Wayne has long talked about retiring from music, with the end appearing to be nigh with confirmation that his next record will be his last solo LP.
Tha Carter V is expected to drop during May, with the hip-hop star discussing his future plans with MTV recently. ”It seems like it’d be impossible for me to work this hard again for anything else,” Wayne told the channel, continuing that it would take around “25 to 35 million” to convince him otherwise.
Lil Wayne’s health has been in decline during the past few years, with the rapper suffering a series of seizures last May.
Meanwhile, Tha Carter V will be the rapper’s eleventh studio effort, following on from last year’s I Am Not a Human Being II.
