Lil Nas X shares clip of Rihanna praising his "dope" unreleased track
Lil Nas X has shared a clip of a conversation he had with Rihanna where she calls an unreleased song of his "dope".
Last week (20 July), Lil Nas X was confirmed to be a part of Rihanna's FENTY SKIN line alongside A$AP Rocky.
Earlier today (30 July), the "Old Town Road" hitmaker shared a 34-second clip of a video call he had with Rihanna, and she praises his unreleased music.
In the clip, Rihanna says, "I heard a clip of your new song the other day. Banging." Lil Nas X throws his hands in the air and yells, "LET'S GO!" Rihanna continues, "Honest to God i'm not just saying that, it is dope."
She even praises his journey so far, "I'm so glad because you came so strong in the beginning. That kinda gets tricky, like, where do you go next, but man, you're killing it, I'm happy for you. And now your skin gon' be even more glowed up in these videos!"

Rihanna is presumably referencing the snippet of new music that Lil Nas X titled "Call Me By Your Name".
Lil Nas X also recently updated his Twitter bio, which now reads: "ALBUM: 92% DONE".
In September 2019, while speaking to Angie Martinez on her Power 105.1 show, Lil Nas X said of his debut album, "I wanna have at least 70 songs to choose from for making like the 10-15 track album." On the potential sound of the LP, Lil Nas X added, "I definitely want it to be, I guess more personal, but still like, slapping."
The singer/rapper's debut EP 7 was released just over a year ago.
