Lil Nas X reveals he was "never" going to come out
"Old Town Road" rapper Lil Nas X has opened up about his sexuality, revealing that he planned to take it "to the grave".
In a new interview on BBC News, Lil Nas X has discussed coming out online.
When asked about him coming out, he replied, "It’s something I was considering never doing, ever. Taking to the grave. But I don’t wanna live my entire life - especially how I got to where I’m at - not doing what I wanna do."
He added that he hopes it will open doors for other people to come out, and explained that homosexuality isn't "really accepted in either the country [or] hip-hop communities."
