Lil Nas X covers Dolly Parton's "Jolene" during BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge set
Lil Nas X is the latest artist to take part in BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge Month, and on top of performing songs from his critically acclaimed debut album MONTERO, he covered Dolly Parton's "Jolene".
Just days after releasing his highly-anticipated debut album MONTERO, Lil Nas X took part in BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge Month, and performed "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)", "Dead Right Now" and "That's What I Want" from his album, as well as a Dolly Parton classic.
Lil Nas X chose Parton's "Jolene" for his cover, keeping it close to the Cyrus family after linking with Billy Ray Cyrus on his own hit "Old Town Road", and teaming up with Miley Cyrus on "Am I Dreaming" last week.
