LICE become first to sign to IDLES' own label Balley Records
Bristol combo LICE have become the first band to sign to IDLES' new label, Balley Records.
The Bristolian punk rock band IDLES have been creating havoc since 2012. Frontman Joe Talbot started his own label Balley Records, and LICE are the first group to sign.
While both bands reside in Bristol, LICE have become the latest project for Joe Talbot to focus on. Speaking about the band, Talbot explains, "As we watch the world seemingly burn; solace is found in the boundless passions of our peers and the hard workings born from that. LICE are a force beyond the rabble. We are in love. Up the open-minded and up the open-hearted."
Following the release of "Stammering Bill", the band have been described as satirical art-punk.
Alongside news of their Balley Records signing, LICE have unveiled the video for second release "Little John Waynes", taken from their upcoming release It All Worked Out Great Vol.1+ Vol.2, out 24 May.
The Bristolian foursome have fulfilled Talbot's checklist from their IDLES support slots, and are now being recognised for their rough sound.
