Algiers' "Black Eunuch" is a staggering, howling piece of confrontational gospel-punk; Liars' remix of it isn't.
It is harrowing in a whole 'nother way, with drum'n'bass motifs, squirmy synth wriggles and titantic drops.
We spoke to the band's Franklin James Fisher recently; you can read the full in-depth inteview about the band's sound, their anger and their beliefs here.
Algiers' self-titled debut album is out now Matador.
