Lianne La Havas is back with "Bittersweet", her first solo single in five years.
Although La Havas did feature on Jacob Collier's "Feel" last year, she has been fairly quiet since the release of her Blood album in 2015.
"I’d forgotten how much I love singing," says La Havas. "I’ve tapped into the best and worst parts of me and while I didn’t expect this to be the new direction, it’s my reality and its driven by emotion…"
Check out the COLORS performance of "Bittersweet" below.
Despite not releasing much music over the past five years, La Havas was part of the Mercury Prize judging panel in 2017 and 2018.
"Bittersweet" is out now on Warner Music. Lianne La Havas plays London's Moth Club on 4 March as part of Annie Mac Presents Festival. Find out more.
