Lewis Capaldi gave Noel Gallagher a hug when they finally met
Lewis Capaldi has revealed that he gave Noel Gallagher a big hug when they finally met at Madrid's Mad Cool festival.
Gallagher and Capaldi have had a comedic feud over the past month or two, with Gallagher calling Capaldi "Fucking Chewbacca" resulting in Capaldi actually walking out on stage at TRNSMT festival wearing a Chewbacca mask.
The mask was provided by a worker at the concert, and has since been put up on eBay to raise money for Frightened Rabbit's Tiny Changes charity.
Speaking about Gallagher to BBC Scotland, Capaldi revealed that the two finally met at Mad Cool festival in Madrid, "I gave him a big hug and whispered in his ear "It’s gonna be OK". He was wriggling, but I pinned him and said "Noel! I’m here and it’s gonna be fine.""
Capaldi also explains that the two met after Capaldi watched Gallagher perform with his daughter Anaïs.
